Customer care policy
Shipping, returns, refunds and warranty.
This policy explains how South African AnyWeather deliveries, cancellations, returns and product problems are handled.
Status: Pre-launch draft, updated 17 August 2026
1. Where we deliver
AnyWeather currently accepts delivery addresses within South Africa only. International delivery is not offered from this store. Available methods, delivery charges and the full order total are shown before you place an order.
2. Dispatch, waybills and delivery estimates
External delivery providers move orders from the warehouse or fulfilment partner to your address. A waybill or tracking reference will be emailed within up to five days after order confirmation, unless we first contact you about an order issue.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Weather, remote-area routing, public holidays, courier capacity, address issues, payment review and events outside reasonable control may affect timing. If an order cannot be fulfilled within the agreed period, we will provide the cancellation and refund rights required by law.
3. Delivery details and risk
Provide a complete South African delivery address, contact number and useful delivery instructions. Contact us promptly if you spot an error. Additional delivery costs caused by incorrect information or repeated failed delivery may be charged where lawful and disclosed.
Goods remain at the merchant’s risk until accepted by you or a person authorised to receive them, subject to the Consumer Protection Act. Tell us promptly if a parcel appears lost, damaged or tampered with.
4. Cancelling before dispatch
Email sales@anyweather.co.za as soon as possible with the order number. If fulfilment can be stopped, we will cancel and refund the order. If it has already been handed to a delivery provider, the return process below applies. Statutory cancellation rights remain available.
5. Change-of-mind returns
You may request a return within 14 calendar days after delivery. This voluntary period is at least as favourable as the seven-day cooling-off period that applies to qualifying electronic transactions under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
A change-of-mind product should be unused, undamaged and returned with its original packaging, accessories and supplied parts where reasonably possible. You may be responsible for the direct return cost where the law permits. The final treatment of original delivery charges during the additional voluntary return period must be approved before launch; statutory refund rules always prevail.
6. How to request a return
- Email sales@anyweather.co.za with the order number, item and reason for the return.
- Wait for return instructions before sending the product.
- Send or deliver the approved return to: Required before public launch.
- Keep proof of handover or tracking until the return is resolved.
The returns address is intentionally blank in the legal configuration and must be completed before public trading.
7. Incorrect, damaged, unsafe or defective goods
Contact us promptly with the order number, a description and useful photographs where available. Where goods do not meet the quality standards in the Consumer Protection Act, the six-month implied warranty of quality may entitle you to choose repair, replacement or refund without penalty and at the supplier’s risk and expense.
If a repaired product fails again within the statutory period, the further remedies required by law apply. Nothing in this policy reduces rights relating to unsafe, defective, misdescribed, unsuitable or incorrectly delivered goods.
8. Assessment and refunds
Returned goods may be inspected to confirm their condition and the applicable remedy. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method where practicable. Payment-provider and bank processing times may apply after release.
Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act’s cooling-off right applies, the full refund is made within the period required by that Act. Other refunds will be processed without unreasonable delay after approval. We will explain any lawful deduction or refusal.
9. Exceptions
A return may be restricted only where the law permits, for example where goods were personalised, altered after delivery, used contrary to instructions, or cannot safely be resold for a legally recognised reason. A restriction does not remove rights relating to defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.
10. Contact and policy status
Questions and requests go to sales@anyweather.co.za. This policy forms part of the AnyWeather Terms and Conditions. If it conflicts with a non-excludable consumer right, that right prevails.
