Terms and Conditions
The rules for shopping with AnyWeather.
These terms govern use of the AnyWeather website, customer accounts, online orders and related services in South Africa.
Status: Pre-launch draft, updated 17 August 2026
1. The supplier
AnyWeather is the trading name used for this online store. The confirmed merchant particulars will be inserted below before public trading. References to “AnyWeather”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean that merchant.
2. Accepting these terms
By accessing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Shipping, Returns, Refunds and Warranty Policy and any promotion-specific terms that apply. You must be at least 18, or act with the assistance of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to apply legally required security. Tell us promptly at sales@anyweather.co.za if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Products and responsible use
We aim to describe products accurately. Colours, finishes and scale may vary between screens and physical products. Product availability, specifications and packaging may change. Product claims apply only as described on the relevant product page and do not replace appropriate safety equipment, instructions or judgement.
5. Prices, VAT and availability
Prices are displayed in South African rand. Whether displayed prices include VAT must be confirmed in the merchant details before launch. Delivery and any other charges are shown before you place an order. Adding a product to a cart does not reserve it.
If a material pricing or product-information error is discovered, we may contact you to confirm or cancel the affected order. Any collected amount for a cancelled order will be refunded.
6. Orders and contract formation
Checkout allows you to review and correct your contact, delivery, product and price information before placing an order. Your order is an offer to purchase. A binding sale is formed when payment is accepted and we send an order confirmation, subject to lawful fraud, stock and verification checks.
We may decline or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, stock is unavailable, information is materially incorrect, a promotion is misused, or we reasonably suspect unlawful activity. We will explain the outcome where reasonably possible and refund collected payment for cancelled goods.
7. Payment
The payment method available at checkout processes payment on our behalf. PayFast is the intended online payment provider once approved and enabled. We receive transaction details such as amount, status and reference, but do not store your full card number. Payment is subject to the provider’s terms and security checks.
8. Delivery, cancellation and risk
We currently deliver within South Africa only through external delivery providers. Delivery charges and available methods are shown at checkout. A waybill or tracking reference will be emailed within up to five days after order confirmation unless we first contact you about an order issue.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Risk remains with the merchant until you or a person authorised by you accepts delivery, subject to applicable law. The full cancellation and return process appears in our returns policy.
9. Returns, refunds and statutory warranties
Our 14-day change-of-mind policy supplements rather than replaces rights under the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act. Failed, unsafe, defective, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods receive the remedies required by law, including the Consumer Protection Act’s implied warranty of quality where it applies.
10. Promotions and gift vouchers
Promotions and gift vouchers are governed by the terms displayed with the offer and our Promotion and Gift Voucher Terms. We may reject duplicate, automated, fraudulent or otherwise abusive claims. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
11. Website use and intellectual property
You may use the website only for lawful personal shopping. You must not interfere with the website, bypass security or rate limits, access another person’s account, upload malicious code, scrape the store at unreasonable volume, or infringe another person’s rights.
The website, branding, photographs, copy and other content belong to AnyWeather or its licensors. No ownership rights are transferred to you. You may not commercially reproduce or exploit that content without permission.
12. Third-party services and availability
The store relies on third-party hosting, commerce, payment, email and delivery services. Their own terms may apply to your direct use of those services. We may maintain, change or suspend parts of the store and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the transaction was concluded. Any lawful limitation must be interpreted consistently with the Consumer Protection Act and other applicable South African law.
14. Complaints and disputes
Please first contact sales@anyweather.co.za with your order number and the outcome you seek. We will try to resolve the matter fairly. You may also use any complaint, ombud or regulatory process available under South African law.
15. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms prospectively. The version applying to an order is the version available when that order is placed. These terms are governed by South African law and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of competent South African courts.
